Google is eyeing India as the new home for its Pixel smartphone production.
The Pixel smartphones might be produced at Foxconn's existing facility in Tamil Nadu, which also assembles Apple's iPhones.
Google is also set to independently manufacture drones in Tamil Nadu, broadening its production capabilities.
"India is a priority market for Pixel smartphones," Google stated, aiming to bring advanced hardware and software to the country.
