JSW Energy’s Q3 net profit declined 27% YoY to ₹168 crore, down from ₹231 crore, as revenue from thermal & hydropower fell.

Revenue Declines Slightly

Q3 revenue fell marginally to ₹2,640 crore from ₹2,661 crore, as weak short-term power tariffs offset growth from renewables.

Margins Under Pressure

EBITDA margin contracted to 42.2%, down from 46.2% in Q3 last year, reflecting operational pressures and lower realizations.

Brokerages Trim Estimates

Motilal Oswal cut FY25 profit estimates by 5%, citing weaker earnings but maintaining a positive outlook on 14GW expansion.

Growth Plans Still Strong
